Delete your data

You can remove Editwise’s access to your social accounts, delete your videos, or have your whole account deleted. Here’s how, and what happens to your data.
2. Delete projects and videos
Delete a project in the app to remove its footage, drafts and finished videos. They’re deleted from our systems within 30 days, and from our backups within a further 60 days.
3. Delete your account and all your data
Email support@editwise.co from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We confirm within one month, and delete your account, brand kits, footage, videos and any connected TikTok or Instagram accounts, as above. Invoices are kept for 7 years, as Dutch tax law requires.
The same applies if you connected TikTok or Instagram and want everything Editwise received from them deleted without having an account any more: email us with the account’s username. More about what we keep and why is in our Privacy policy.
1. Disconnect TikTok or Instagram
In Editwise, open Settings › Social accounts and choose Disconnect next to the account. Its details and access token are deleted from Editwise at once, and nothing more is published to it.

Posts already published stay on your profile until you delete them there.
